Religious School Happenings
A Message from Religious School Principal, Lois Tompkins 
Wow - it is our last month!
Classes are busy finishing up projects and curriculum,and practicing for our end-of-year programs (see below).  Please be sure to continue sending your child to Religious School everyday so that they can finish everything before the end of the school year!

Save the dates:
    Religious School Shabbat/Consecration:   Friday night, May 20, 2016    Please make plans to join us for this final Religious School experience.   We will all join together as we welcome Shabbat with our own Friday evening service, led by all of our students.  We will recognize our 7th grade graduates, our teachers and madrichim, and we will also have a special ceremony for our Consecration students as they celebrate the end of their first year of formal Hebrew School and receive their very own siddur.  This will be followed by a dinner, catered by Margo's.  
              5:15-6:30   Religious School Service
              6:30 (approximately)    Dinner
The dinner menu is: baked chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, peas and carrots
Of course, we will have drinks and a special cake for dessert!
Cost is $15.00 per adult; $10.00 for children ages 2-12;  under age 2 are free
RSVP to [email protected] as soon as possible; payment is due before May 16.

   7th grade graduation:  Sunday, May 22 at 10:00 am
On May 22 (our last day), students will enjoy some private time with their classes and teachers from 9 am -10 am.  At 10:00, all students and staff will join parents and others as we celebrate the graduation of our 7th graders. You'll love the film that has been put together, showing the last 8 years of Religious School experience for this group!   
        9:00 am    Drop off as usual
       10:00 am   "Graduation" Ceremony, followed by a dessert reception


We hope that you will be able to join us for all of these wonderful events!
