Engaging Pittsburgh: It's All About the People
Formerly the People Do Matter Awards
The People Do Matter Awards, initiated in 2000, focused on recognizing innovative HR practices at organizations in Southwestern PA. In an effort to freshen up the program, the PHRA has designed a campaign for 2014-2015 to motivate and inspire leadership in the Pittsburgh region to consider employee-centered work practices. This is nothing short of a revolution with the goal of improving the daily work experience of our community members!

Welcome to "Engaging Pittsburgh: It's All About the People!" - a fresh take on building a reciprocal relationship between employers and employees. In doing so, organizations will experience greater engagement from its workforce, greater retention figures and ultimately an improved customer experience, resulting in improved business performance. Employees will experience a more engaging work life, spilling over to a more enjoyable personal life. The benefits are unlimited!

2014 Greater Pittsburgh Annual Salary Planning Survey is OPEN!

Over the past 6 years, EHResearch Data Services, LLC has coordinated an annual salary planning survey for employers in the Greater Pittsburgh metropolitan area.

Qualified participants will receive a FREE copy of the report which summarizes the data collected.

We are inviting various groups including the Greater Pittsburgh Survey Group, Inc. (GPSGI), the Western Pennsylvania Total Compensation Association (WPTCA), the Western Pennsylvania Human Resources Association, the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association (PHRA), our clients, and all area employers to join in this valuable survey to enable even more comprehensive local salary planning information.

Using a web-based collection tool, this survey gathers data on salary increase budgets in 2014 and projected budgets for 2015.  Pittsburgh employers use this data in consideration of their own salary and merit budget process.

Data is gathered for seven employee classes (non-exempt hourly non-union, non-exempt hourly union, non-exempt salaried non-union, exempt salaried non-union, exempt salaried union, sales, and officers/executives), of which definitions for these classes are provided inside the survey.

All data will be kept strictly confidential and data submission must be completed by September 26, 2014.

Please click the link below for more information about the survey and to receive your individual participation link to the survey:

We hope you will take the opportunity to participate in this valuable local salary planning survey.
