PARTY UPDATE!
We would like to welcome Screech RUM to our line up of amazing sponsors. We will be serving complimentary Screech Rum and Rising Tide Beer each evening during the event.
Saturday we will be serving a full Italian Buffet dinner under the tent with live music by "The Protest Committee" that's their band name it's not actually the individuals from the Protest Committee.
Dinner tickets are available during the registration process or you can call Carter White at 207-671-7750 and purchase your tickets over the phone. Cost is $35 each. We already have over 50 people registered for dinner and have limited space available so come join the fun and hang out with your fellow competitors.
Tickets may be sold pre-event only so act fast, price at he door will be higher and may even be sold out.
FREE RAFFLE
On Saturday evening during dinner we will be raffling off 15 Custom SeaBags Bucket Bags with the ONE Regatta logo. Each bag is valued at over $40!
These custom bags are the perfect item to keep your tools in or to use as your sail repair kit. These bags will be raffled off to people that attend the event, YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN! There is no cost to enter the raffle other than you must be at the Saturday night dinner party.
WEATHER
While we are hoping and planning for 15 knots of warm southwesterly breezes we all know that might not happen each day. The folks at Weather Routing Inc. (WRI) are proud to be the Official Weather Provider for the ONE Regatta. The will be providing daily forecasts each morning starting August 21st.
We will be providing the link to their forecasts in our daily email blasts to competitors but if you want to get a jump and check them out click here for more info and save their landing page which will be updated once the event starts.
WRI is also providing 10 FREE coupons for their premium weather service with a three day regatta forecast. Stay tuned on how to receive one of these great prizes!

ONE REGATTA GOES CLEAN:
The ONE Regatta is registered with Sailors for the Sea Clean Regatta Program. The event has been given Silver Regatta Status by keeping waste down and recycling whenever possible. Go to sailorsforthesea.org for more info.
About this Event
The PHRF New England's are changing, expect a new and different event in Marblehead, Massachusetts this year!
The new event is called the Offshore New England Championships or ONE Regatta and is being organized and promoted by Mass Bay Sailing Association. The ONE Regatta will take place on the same traditional weekend as the New England's August 22, 23, 24 and will be run and managed on the water by the Boston, Corinthian and Eastern Yacht Clubs. This year's on-shore host is the Boston Yacht Club.
There are numerous new and exciting attributes to the ONE Regatta, many of which can be found on the event website www.oneregatta.org
Here are a few ways the event will be different than in the past:

Multiple Rating Divisions are being offered (IRC, ORR, HPR & PHRF)

Multiple One-Designs are invited (currently Swan 42, J/105, J/109, J/70, Henderson 30, J/111 and Beneteau 36.7)

A focus on sailing like boats with like boats whenever feasible for the best racing experience possible.

2 Days of navigational around the buoys courses for main & jib classes and shorthanded classes.

New social format with focus on dinner, dancing, entertainment and more on Saturday evening and casual parties every other night.

Additional discounts for all entrants (possibly lowering your entry fee from previous years).

New Apparel - we will have multiple apparel items including tech tees, polo shirts, hats and more!
