The 2017 theme, "Live Scouting's Adventure," speaks both to Scouting's century-old tradition of creating adventures that develop young people into the leaders of tomorrow and to the developing adventures of the next century of Scouting.
The jamboree is open to active Boy Scout and Venturing youth members and adult volunteer leaders in BSA programs and will be held July 19-28, 2017. Registration for the 2017 National Jamboree can be found below. Spots are on a first-come, first-serve basis. We currently have 108 Boy Scout slots available and 8 Venturing slots available. Cost for the 2017 Jamboree will be $1400 with a $100 deposit paid in 13 monthly payments of $100.

Now is the time to get ready for fall recruitment! All packs should select their school night coordinator and be in contact with their schools before the end of the school year to get their fall recruitment date set for the week of August 29th - September 2nd 2016.
Save the date: Wednesday, July 27, 2016 is our School Night Recruitment Training. All packs should plan to send their school night coordinator to this meeting to hear all the new and exciting things planned for this year's fall recruitment, including the new Rocket Program, a Lions Cub Update and details on our Cub Scout Fun Day in September. The training will be held at the Schiewetz Leadership Training Center, 6444 Frederick Pike, Dayton, OH 45414 at 7:00 PM. You don't want to miss this!
