Ben's Buzz:
May 4, 2016 The BFCCS PCO kicked off Teacher Appreciation Month this morning; thank you to everyone that sent in flowers this morning as well as the team of volunteers that was here to greet students it was a beautiful start to the day! Nominations for several positions on the PCO are now open for the 2016-2017 PCO Board. The draft budget is also available for review in advance of their final General Meeting of the year. You'll find many details in the PCO section just below.
BFCCPS has commenced our State Mandated testing this week. In developing the test schedule we worked with the grade level teachers to determine if they would prefer to schedule AM and PM sessions to complete the testing in an abbreviated period of time, or if they would prefer to stretch the testing segments over a number of days to reduce the time dedicated to testing on any given day. You will find the complete schedule for all testing sessions included below which was created based on their input.
Any feedback regarding your child's learning style with respect to 2016-2017 class assignments is due by tomorrow Thursday, May 5th. You can find all the details in this edition of Ben's Buzz.
Have a great rest of the week!

Good Day! Parents of BFCCPS,
This is Vinay Balaji and as you know, I had a movie night on Friday April 29th. It was a very successful movie night with many parents, students and their siblings at the event. I truly thank each and everyone who participated in the movie night and spending their evening with me for this cause. BFCCPS is a community of people who like to help, and it was so apparent in the movie night. Many parents were generously donating money for the cause. I am sure that you are going to put a big smile on the infants at Boston children's hospital. I also thank the parents who couldn't come to the movie night, but still donated money to help the cause of supporting the infants at Boston Children's hospital. With this strong parent community support, you are not only supporting for the cause but also giving the students, great motivation & confidence now & for their future. Can't thank you all enough!
Have a great rest of the day.
Sincerely,
Vinay B.
