Spring clean your credit with our credit rebuilding ebook and book giveaway.

Hi

Spring is a great time to clean up your credit report! Download our free credit rebuilding ebook and enter our book giveaway!

Reviewing your credit report at least once a year is part of a healthy financial routine. What you should be on the lookout for is errors or out-of-date information.

Here are 4 reasons why you should make this an annual exercise:
  1. Inaccurate information may mean that you are declined for credit or offered a higher interest rate.
  2. Identity theft is becoming more prevalent. Monitoring your report can help you identify if someone has fraudulently obtained credit in your name.
  3. Many employers require a credit check as part of the hiring process. Knowing what is there ahead of time, and correcting errors, can be important in securing a job.
  4. Creditors and collection agencies may update one credit report, but not all. It is important to verify that your information is correct with both Trans Union and Equifax.
