Don't miss the final LaunchVT competition tomorrow,  May 5th, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Main Street Landing in the Film House of the Preforming Arts Center. Come hear the seven finalists pitch their businesses in a competition to win cash and prizes! Learn more about the seven finalists here.

Hosted by Victoria Taylor, whom you likely know from VT PBS's web series InnoVaTe and her time at reddit running the Ask Me Anything series, the event will be sure to get you excited about all the innovation happening in Vermont. Join us afterwards for heavy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar from  Have Your Cake Catering .

Support LaunchVT in style with our 2016 pint glass! For a donation of $10, you  can pick up your LaunchVT 2016 pint glass (filled with a great Vermont beer thanks to Farrell Distributing ) at the final competition.

Free parking will be available in the lot at the end of Lake Street (near the new skate park). There is also metered parking (until 6:00PM) along Lake Street and in the public parking lot across from the Preforming Arts Center.

Join us in the fight against cancer! The Lake Champlain Chamber and Burlington Young Professionals(BYP) are teaming up to participate in the Chittenden County Relay for Life on June 17th at the Champlain Valley Expo center. The  relay kicks off at 6:00PM, and we will have a tent there to hang out, network and play yard games--so bring your family and friends! Our team goal is to raise $1,000 for the American Cancer Society and to support all of those affected by cancer. Want to join our team? You can join here .  Questions? Asian Studies Outreach Program Farewell Conference and Reunion 



Co-sponsored by the VCWA, t he Asian Studies Outreach Program, after in operation for 22 years, will conclude its final year with a daylong conference that celebrates the legacy of the Asian Studies Outreach Program and current programs that promote Asian Studies. Dr. Juefei Wang will deliver the first keynote speech outlining the history and success of the Asian Studies Outreach Program. Mr. Jeff Wang, Advisor to the President of the Asia Society, will be the second keynote and address new resources for teaching about Asia in schools. The Conference will conclude with a celebration of music and dance. There is a  $15.00 registration fee which includes continental breakfast and lunch. You can purchase tickets here. Questions?
