Unique History Preserved at Stafford Civil War Park

The Stafford Civil War Park preserves camps and fortifications of the Army of the Potomac's 11th Corps. Historians consider this site the Union's "Valley Forge," marking a turning point before the upcoming Battle of Gettysburg.

Hope Springs Marina Partners with River Rock Outfitters

Stafford's Hope Springs Marina has partnered with downtown Fredericksburg's River Rock Outfitter to provide kayak and stand-up board rentals.  

Beginning the first weekend of May, paddlers can enjoy the beauty of Aquia Creek.
