Would you consider being a host family for 2 or more students during this week? They have a packed schedule and will be busy most day and some evenings. This choir hosted our students in 2012 and here are some words of gratitude from a parent:
Dear Bach Choir Families,
Three years ago my daughter had a once in a lifetime experience with the Bach Children's Choir.
Jessica had been a member of the choir for nine years and been on multiple tours with the choir however her tour to Germany and Belgium was the most memorable one by far.
Our students participated in homestays with German families who welcomed them into their homes sharing their daily activities and routines. They accompanied our students on sightseeing tours, took them to local schools and churches and included them in their daily lives for ten days. Due to the generosity of time and resources our students had an experience that will never be duplicated or forgotten.
This tour not only reaffirmed the concept of music being the universal language that bonds all of us together, it also offered a unique cultural experience.
If you are unable to provide a homestay location I am asking that you may consider making a monetary donation to help us show our guests the daily life and sites of living in California and allow us to extend the same hospitality and quality visit that our choir experienced.
