Upcoming Events in the Children's Room
 

Welcome to the new Children's Room Newsletter.  Here you'll find everything going on in the library this month for our smallest patrons.  
 

  The Friends of the Reuben Hoar Library will be holding a book sale this month, from May 12th to May 14th. There will be plenty of children's books at the sale, so be sure to stop in!
 
 
Movie Matinee for Kids
 
  Do you know the name of this movie?
"65 million years ago, an asteroid made its way out of the belt and sped toward Earth. It turned red as it entered the atmosphere, and then it sped past, missing the planet entirely. Millions of years later, two Apaterosauruses named Henry and Ida are busy cultivating a field next to a river at the base of Clawtooth Mountain."

Lego Club
 
Come in and play with our thousands of Legos during vacation week.  You can create what you want and work together to build larger projects.  There are only 16 spaces so please sign-up.

PJ Story Time
 
Come in and listen to Mrs. Sill read some great books.  You can wear your P.J.s and bring in your lovey too!  You do not have to register for this story time, just drop in!

Toddler Story Time with Erin Jade

This fun class with music, movement and books is for children 18-36 months-old. The last class will meet at 10:30 on Monday, May 2.  Please register at: www.littletonlibrary.org as space is limited.

Saturday Story time

Mrs. Haduch will read a few stories
that are sure to become favorites!
Drop in for some fun! 

Pre-School Story time



Mrs. Haduch will read stories for children 3-5 in the Children's Room.  Come in and meet some new friends and some new books!

After-School Story Time
 
This story time is for our after-school friends in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade.  Mrs. Haduch will read some longer picture books and sometimes, part of a really good chapter book.  You do not need to register for this event; drop-in to meet some new books and new friends!
