Greater Freeport Chamber of Commerce
Chamber Chatter News Edition
Hi everyone! As we all start ramping up for tourist season, I would like to take a moment to recognize how important networking is all year round. One of the biggest joys of my job is to see collaboration among members..to see new ideas being discussed, to see one members products for sale in another business, that is what the chamber is all about! Another fantastic benefit of being part of our organization is to see how we all come together for the good times and the difficult times. The last week saw us mourn the loss of a 30 year old business in Freeport along with owners, customers and staff of The Corsican. We also had our spirits lifted in celebration of True Value Freeport Hardware store's expansion. Through both, we experienced the drive, commitment and pride that comes with being a small business owner. As we move further into 2016, you will see our new marketing tagline, Freeport is My Business. Freeport is your business and our business! Let's be "all in" and make it a wonderful, profitable season! If you need help getting motivated, reach out. Know that there are so many other business owners who "have your back" and support you. Have a good May!
#FREEPORT IS MY BUSINESS
