The District's annual Science-O-Rama, sponsored by Synopsys, features the top ten science projects from each of our 25 elementary schools. It takes place on Thursday, May 5, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Liberty High School, and is non-competitive. Admission is free.

Annual Budget Meeting
The District's annual Budget Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 5, at 7 p.m. in the Administration Center Board Room, 3083 NE 49th Place, Hillsboro. The proposed 2016-17 budget is largely status quo from 2015-16; however, it does include a tightening up of licensed staff positions due to decreased enrollment (these will be managed through attrition), a reduction in district-level department budgets, an increase in two custodial positions, and a reallocation of funds between temporary/substitute staffing and permanent staffing.

TAG You're It!
The District's next TAG, You're It! event for students in grades K-6 takes place on Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to noon at Witch Hazel Elementary School. Registration deadline is May 6. Click here for information about the fun and engaging enrichment activities that will be offered.
