Greetings!
Get into the Purim spirit! If you've ever walked through our doors, you surely know that Chabad House is bursting with activity and excitement throughout Purim.
So don't miss out on this very special day! Click here for our full purim schedule which you can find on our website. The two main events to look for are the Purim Ball for adults on Saturday night, and the Purim family event on Purim morning.
Don't forget to do the following 4 Mitzvot of Purim:
1. Be sure to hear the Megillah twice, once on Saturday night and then again on Sunday. (We will have megillah readings at Chabad Sat night at 8PM and again at 11PM, and Sunday at 9AM in the main service and at 9:30 in the gym at the family Purim celebration).
2. Celebrate a Purim Feast, including bread, wine and meat, sometime during the day on Sunday, with family and friends. (No Kiddush is recited but the wine or vodka is consumed...)
3. Give Gifts of Food, usually a gift basket of ready-made prepared foods, to at least one friend. This should be done individually by each member of the family (separate and apart from participation in the communal Purim baskets).
4. Give money to the poor on this day. If you don't have access to poor on this day, we will have charity boxes at shul throughout Purim day especially for this purpose. You can also make an online donation to a Food-for-Shabbos organization on Purim day by clicking here.

Who wants to be a MINYANAIRE?
Membership in the club requires simply a commitment to attend the morning minyan (services) either Monday or Thursday mornings - or both. Services begin at 7am promptly, and last until 7:45. Those who have the time and can stay for Coffee & Parsha for an additional 30 minutes are invited to do so as well.
Guys - think about what this can do for you - a weekly get together with "the boys" for prayer, camaraderie and a cup of coffee.
Want to join? Simply email: [email protected] and let the rabbi know. Small investment of time, huge return in terms of focus, inspiration and community connection. The Minyanaire's Club is open to any Jew in the area. One need not be a Chabad member to join. Please come on board and make us stronger!

Just Happy
The Baal Shem Tov taught that true happiness is the high road to G-d.
"Serve G-d with happiness!" sings the Psalmist. And the Baal Shem Tov explained, "The happiness itself is your service of G-d."

Parshat Tzav
G-d instructs Moses to command Aaron and his sons regarding their duties and rights as kohanim ("priests") who offer the korbanot (animal and meal offerings) in the Sanctuary.
The fire on the altar must be kept burning at all times. In it are burned the wholly consumed ascending offering; veins of fat from the peace, sin and guilt offerings; and the " handful" separated from the meal offering.
The kohanim eat the meat of the sin and guilt offerings, and the remainder of the meal offering. The peace offering is eaten by the one who brought it, except for specified portions given to the kohen. The holy meat of the offerings must be eaten by ritually pure persons, in their designated holy place and within their specified time.
Aaron and his sons remain within the Sanctuary compound for seven days, during which Moses initiates them into the priesthood.
