As you are going,
THINK BIG: Every relationship, every interaction, all inclusive.

And make disciples,
START SMALL: You. Be one. Be a Christ-like disciple. Re-present Jesus.

Baptizing them, immersing them in Jesus,
GO DEEP: Pray. Empty yourself. Sacrifice.

"Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."  Matt. 28:19-20

Pastor Celebrates 25 Years at Church of the Nazarene

East Peoria Church of the Nazarene, located at 1325 Meadows, will be celebrating 25 years under the leadership of Rev. Tim Livengood and his wife, Debbie, at 10:30 a.m. on May 22, 2016, followed by a potluck dinner.

Pastor Livengood began his ministry to youth and children and in music in Alabama and Mississippi before coming to Bloomington, Illinois in 1980, where he also served as Pastor of Youth and Children.

He attended Olivet Nazarene University while pastoring the Dwight, IL First Church of the Nazarene, from 1984-1989, and was ordained in 1989.  Then the family moved to North Carolina to pastor Forest City First Church of the Nazarene.

He returned to Illinois and began his pastorate at East Peoria First Church of the Nazarene in 1991.  During these twenty-five years, the church has thrived on his preaching skills and the musical talents of Pastor Tim and Debbie.  Despite a fire destroying part of the church in December of 1995, the church has done well.  Because Pastor Livengood believes in ministry outside the walls of the church, he has led groups on Work and Witness mission trips to the Navajo and Cherokee nations, as well as to Versailles and Paris, France.  Groups from the church have also gone to help out at the Nazarene Compassionate Ministries distribution center in Pennsylvania.

Pastor Tim and Debbie have been active on the Northwestern Illinois District of the Church of the Nazarene as well.  Pastor Tim served on the District Nazarene Youth International council and on the District Board of Ministry, where he is currently the secretary.  Debbie served on the District Nazarene Missions International council.  Both have been delegates to the International Church of the Nazarene General Conventions.
Adams Voice will be at the Hillcrest Holiness Camp (Kampsville) with Dr. Jim Diehl on August 1- 7 and looking to minister in the area on Sunday, July 31st AM & PM.  We will be in Minot, ND for a General Primetime Retreat & Revival and returning through NW Illinois and have Sunday, October 9th open for concerts, AM & PM.
