Guitar Villa Educational Programs Guitar Villa is the industry leader in Music related classes, as well as related Arts and Music studies - and we're right here in your backyard! We recognize the reported correlation between music lessons and students' progress in Math, Sciences and early brain development. We have been serving students of the Lehigh Valley and Bucks County for over 22 years and our amazing lesson program has had great success! Basic Music Lessons at Guitar Villa are only $25. per week, and we have hundreds of students taking advantage of their program every week. Instruction is offered, in all levels, for most instruments including Guitar, Bass, Drums, Voice, Piano, Banjo, Mandolin and many others. Our valued instructors are devoted to offering the best guidance for every student. Rock Show at Guitar Villa The Guitar Villa Music Education Department is happy to offer a comprehensive educational program called Rock Show. This specialized course is very different from the classes offered by other organizations that simply teach students a few songs and assemble them for a performance. It is taught by 2 seasoned professionals who have first hand experience in forming and performing in band situations. We will cover the dynamics of selecting band mates, forming a band, personal goals as well as responsibilities, individual and PA equipment selection and set-up, practice, performing, booking and every aspect associated with this exciting profession. Current students who are interested in application to this program will require a recommendation from their instructor and all applicants will be placed after a brief audition and interview. We offer this service to bands too!
Songwriting Class at Guitar Villa
Guitar Villa sees the need to guide musicians through the basics and intricacies of songwriting. This course of study is taught by a seasoned professional who has first hand knowledge and experience in all aspects of successful songwriting. Instructors have extensive knowledge of the theory and practice of writing lyrics, as well as music and chord changes to consistently achieve the best results. This class is a must for anyone who wants to turn creative ideas into music!
Course content will include music theory for songwriters, lyric composition, an overview of the music industry and student workshops.
Vocal Instruction at Guitar Villa
Guitar Villa is proud to offer the BEST vocal instruction program available. We teach theory as well as posture, breathing and every aspect associated with professional vocal performance. We are very serious about our highly successful music program and expect every student to make an effort and attend all scheduled classes. Art & Music Appreciation at Guitar Villa
Federal and local governments are, across the board, cutting or removing funding for art and music classes in public education. Classes designed to expose children to the arts, music and creative studies are no longer included in some schools, and have decreased greatly in others. Guitar Villa feels it is essential to expose individuals, of all ages, to the arts. Appreciation of the Arts and Music is an essential component of our personal growth and adds the color of culture to every life.
We are proud to offer a comprehensive Art & Music Appreciation course that covers history and creative forces through the ages, presented with current popular music and art as the starting point. Previous historic periods will be represented in successive order, slowly regressing back in time. This will ultimately show the student how our past has affected and shaped our current creativity and how we will affect the future generation with our contribution. Diverse cultures and geographic areas of creative contribution will be covered.
