  • Our Wilton Reads 2016 selection is Circling the Sun by Paula McLain. Click here to learn about all the adult and children's programs planned, including the book giveaway on May 18. Paula McLain visits Wilton Library to discuss her novel on June 1. 
  • We need your African Safari photos! Through May 13, digitize your Kenyan photos in Innovation Station or submit digital images for a community slide show to be projected in the library's gallery during Wilton Reads 2016 programs. Use innovation @wiltonlibrary.org to send digital images or to request an appointment to digitize.

Circling the Sun by Paula McLain 
Free Book Giveaway
Wednesday, May 18 @10am
To encourage readership and kick-off our Wilton Reads 2016 program, 100 paperback copies of Circling the Sun will be distributed to members of the community free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis, one per person, courtesy of the Fairfield County Bank. Tusk & Cup Fine Coffee is donating free Kenyan coffee for the book giveaway.
WILTON READS 2016: Circling the Sun Book Discussion with Joanna Ecke
Wednesday, May 18 @7pm
Join Joanna Ecke, a graduate of Smith College with a doctorate in literature from Duke University, for an evening discussion of this work. Advance registration suggested. This program is part of our Wilton Reads 2016 Circling the Sun program.  More info & register
Breast Cancer Survivors' Support Group
Tuesday, May 17 @6pm
Breast cancer survivors are invited to join in this monthly support group facilitated by Nina Marino, LCSW.  The topic will be the needs of breast cancer survivors after a mastectomy and reconstruction. Dr. David Passaretti will discuss the problems, concerns, and options of women after reconstruction.  More info & register
AARP Driver Safety Class
Wednesday, May 18 @10am
This single session, four-hour course is the nation's first and largest classroom driver safety course designed especially for drivers age 50+. There are no written or driving tests - classroom only.  More info & register
