King Ahab was a whiner! He wanted Naboth's vineyard, so his wife Queen Jezebel connived to get it for him. Things didn't end up working out so well for Ahab! Thus, our bottom line this week: When you focus on what you don't have, it can make you miserable. Our memory verse is: Philippians 4:12b "I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want." Help your kids remember to be content with what they already have instead of wishing they had what other people have. Worrying over it can make them miserable!

We have an immediate need for more volunteers in our special needs classes at 9:30am and 11:00am. We have lost two of our volunteers and we will need to replace them along with adding a few in order to continue offering a safe and loving environment for our special needs kiddos. Please consider helping out in this area!
Don't forget your Bible when you come to church and be sure to bring it to large group with you to practice looking up the story for the day.
