Issue 21: May 10, 2016
Welcome to the NSCN Member Tip of the Week

NSCN Career Tools Webinar

New Start Career Network members are invited to attend a Career Tools Webinar on Tuesday, May 17 from noon to 1:00 pm. This webinar will be hosted by William Jones, Rutgers University Career Services' Director of Operations and Strategic Initiatives. Wil will focus on how to get the most out of two of the tools NSCN members have access to courtesy of Rutgers Career Services: CareerShift and Vault.

CareerShift is a resource that helps job seekers navigate the published and hidden job market to find employment through the use of search tools, reminders, document wizards, databases with company contacts that help you make connections, and more.

Vault gives users access to profiles that provide an inside view of trends and strategies within companies and industries, which boost your chance to land a job offer. Knowing how to utilize these tools is key to maximizing your job search.

We hope that you will join us to learn more about these valuable tools!

This session will be recorded and available on the NSCN website.

For those who want to explore the tools in the meantime, you can find them on the NSCN website. After you log in, please click on Job Seekers, then Stregthening Your Job Search, then Career Tools (h ttps://www.newstartcareernetwork.org/Job-Seekers/Strengthening-Your-Job-Search/Career-Tools) .
