 Mental Health Resources and Support Mental Illness (MI) affects the lives of millions of people and the families that love them. Christians are not immune to the struggles associated with loving and caring for someone with MI. If you or someone you know has a loved one who suffers from a Mental Illness then you know the emotional roller coaster ride it can be. Often a 7 day stay at a Crisis unit is not enough to stabilize individuals with MI, but options for residential treatment are limited. Tammi Dixson and Fran Piekarski will share residential treatment options and how to navigate admissions these centers, as well as, how to know when your loved one is getting proper care and what to do if you think they are not.
