Meet David Colby

On Monday, May 16, the Chamber will be hosting a meet and greet with David Colby to give all members a chance to meet him and welcome him to the Chamber. The meet and greet will be held at the Clermont City Center from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. See you there!

Chamber Community Service

The Chamber is hosting a food drive that will benefit the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry at the Montverde United Methodist Church. Please bring any non-perishable donations to the Chamber by May 20th. For more information about the food pantry, please contact Julie Bennett at [email protected].

Lunch and Learn Signup Deadline is Tuesday

If you would like to attend the Lunch and Learn on Wednesday, May 11, please register by Tuesday, May 10 at 5 p.m. You can register by emailing [email protected] or calling 352-394-4191.

At the Lunch and Learn, Tracy Post, a small business coach, will be talking about social media and how to use it to expand your business.  Tracy is the blogger behind Around Mount Dora, a blog about her experiences living in Mount Dora and what makes her town special.

The Lunch and Learn is free for all members and there will be a $5 box lunch available (please order ahead).

Help Sydney of Read to Sydney

Sydney, the dog behind Read to Sydney, has been diagnosed with lymphoma - leukemia and Thom Battisto is asking for your help. After holding a garage sale this past weekend to raise money to pay for Sydney's current vet bills, he still needs to raise $1,000 more. If you would like to help Sydney, who has helped the local community for the past five years, please click here.
