Congratulations Coach Mike Kazek - Pacific Masters Coach of the Year  
California Maritime Academy Masters Swimming Head Coach, Mike Kazek was chosen to be this year's Coach of the Year for his undeniable dedication to his team. He played an integral role in the development of the new aquatics center at Maritime Academy and wasted no time organizing the Cal Maritime Long Course Meters Time Trial Event.  (The next one is Sunday, May 15!). A heartfelt and well-deserved congratulations to Coach Mike!  Thank you for epitomizing the definition of what it means to be a Masters Swim Coach!

2016 USMS National Coaches Clinic Nov 11-13, 2016 in San Mateo, CA. 
This three-day weekend clinic is specifically tailored for Masters coaches and presented by award-winning U.S. Masters Swimming coaches.  Topics this year include open water, team building,
turns, dryland, and, stroke technique. There will also be pool sessions to practice and apply what you learn.  Be sure you are signed up with USMS to receive updates regarding this clinic.

San Ramon Valley Masters is looking for an Assistant Masters Coach M-W-F 11:30-1:00pm and mornings: Monday:5-7am and Saturday 9-10:30am plus some administrative work. All practices are currently held at the San Ramon Olympic pool.  Contact Jayne Riley ( [email protected] ) for more information.

USMS Coaches Committee
The USMS Coaches Committee exists to educate and support the coaches of masters teams. We have conference calls monthly to help us exchange ideas and work toward our goals. One of which is to improve communication with all our coaches across the U.S. By sharing the minutes of our meetings, we can give you some insights into the projects we are working on and goals we are working toward.
