Start your engines!   Join us on May 7th at the Chapel Hills Mall for a very special Council Pinewood Derby to celebrate "A Century of Adventure" with the Pikes Peak Council.

If you're interested in a once in a lifetime experience and living Scouting's Adventure, come to our National Jamboree Rally 9:00 am, Saturday, May 7 at the Church of Latter Day Saints, 4955 Meadowland Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO. At the rally you will meet our leaders, and receive information about the National Jamboree, the planned tour of the East Coast, the costs, money earning opportunities, and much more.

The 100th Anniversary History Committee would love you to 
check out the displays  at the following libraries: Pikes Peak Library Main in April, the 21C Library in June and Old Colorado City Library in August.

Dear Unit Leaders:
 
Thank you for promoting the sale of our Camp Cards for $5 where your unit earns $2.50 for each card sold.  One of the tabs on this
year's Camp Card provides free admiss ion into our Centennial Family Camp Out in October. 
The attached Family Camp Out promotion card does NOT by itself provide free admission, but was meant to only advertise the Family Camp Out tab on the Camp Card.  Please announce this at your meetings and forward this clarification to all families in your unit.
 
We're sorry for any miscommunication and apologize for the confusion.  Thanks for all you do for Scouting and we look forward to all in your unit participating in our Centennial Family Camp Out!

Financial resources for the Pikes Peak Council come from an annual Friends of Scouting (FOS) campaign, local United Ways, foundation grants, special events, project sales, investment income, trust funds, bequests, gifts of real and personal property, and your direct financial contributions.
