The eleventh annual Newburyport Literary Festival will celebrate the poetry of Edna St. Vincent Millay
and honor local teacher and poet Deborah Szabo.
On April 29th and 30th there will be a number of events with seasoned authors, journalists and poets, including a full day of non-fiction, poetry, and children's literature activities.

2016 marks the 21st annual Strut for Strays to benefit the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society. The Strut for Strays is a family fun day that includes a scenic 5k walk and run through picturesque Newbury, MA where runners and teams of walkers raise money for the MRFRS through donations from friends, family and co-workers. We are also accepting applications from crafters who make handmade items to sell their wares at the event.

D-Construct from Canada recycles resin and creates translucent earrings. Paul Ocepek makes clocks and night lights for children. Lorraine Oerth makes vivid colored ceramic bowls and dipping dishes.
