Next week will be very special for our students who will receive their First Holy Communion and the Sacrament of Confirmation. Please join me in praying for these students and their families. We are blessed to be able to teach our children that God is not someone who is far away, but He is real and present in our lives in many ways, especially in the sacraments. May this be a time for all of us to put our faith into practice, to participate at Mass every Sunday, to pray constantly, to be grateful for God’s gifts, and to show our love for one another in the words we speak and the things we do.

Teacher Appreciation Week
May 2 - 6, 2016
During the week of May 2nd – 6th, we will be celebrating all the work our St. Bernard’s Catholic School teachers do to help your children learn and grow in a faith-filled environment. This is a special time to show your appreciation and to let the teachers know how much they are loved! Here are some optional suggestions to celebrate your child’s teachers:
Monday: Prayer Day – say a prayer for your teachers
Tuesday: Thoughtful Day - make an appreciation card for your teacher.
Wednesday:Kindness Day – do a kind deed for your teacher
Thursday:Sweet Day - send a yummy snack for your teacher to enjoy!
Friday:Flower Day - make or bring a flower for your teacher.
ENROLLMENT 2016-2017
Returning Student Enrollment forms for 2016-2017 are now due. There is a non-refundable enrollment fee of $175.00 for each returning student. Forms are available at the office. Please let us know if your family will be returning to St. Bernard’s next school year so we can plan accordingly.
St. Bernard’s Catholic Preschool and Before & After School Program registration for the 2016 - 2017 school year is open to all families. Registration packet can be picked up in the school office or by calling (209)835-8019 or email Karen Abelar, Director [email protected] if you have any questions, would like a brochure, or would like a tour of the Preschool.
