Spring is a good time to make landscape changes

With cool temperatures and plenty of precipitation this spring, it's a great time to make major landscape repairs and install new plant materials. Making landscape changes this time of year requires less water than installing plants in the heat of the summer.

As an incentive to encourage customers to take advantage of the cooler spring conditions, Centennial Water offers a temporary landscape water budget adjustment in the spring and fall.  The Landscape Water Adjustment application, found here, can be filled out in April, May, September and October.  Approved applications provide customers with a greater water budget and an exemption to the daytime watering restrictions that begin May 1.
Learn best watering practices in the 2016 Water Wise Guide

Centennial Water's annual Water Wise Guide was mailed to all customers earlier this month. The spring time publication includes information about Centennial Water's water efficiency programs, outdoor water use and a review of Centennial Water's rules to reduce water waste in the community.
