On September 24, more than 30,000 local students participated in this year's See You at the Pole (SYATP). Millions of students were involved globally. Before school, students joined together at their school's flagpole in prayer for their friends, school, city, state, nation and the world. Many lives were touched, changed and challenged by one of the nation's largest prayer movements. This year's SYATP theme was "NEVER STOP PRAYING," based from the scripture verse Ephesians 6:18 - "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people." This year's theme message encourages us to put on the full armor of God, stand strong in Him, and be His representatives to share the Good News of the Gospel.

Thousands of students also participated in SYATP rallies held across the state on the evening of September 24. There were many decisions made for Christ on this momentous day. During this important prayer event, students were challenged to pray, seek, turn to God and share Him with others.

The following is just a few of the many testimonies from that amazing day:

"The Amazing Race in Shelby County was a great success," said First Priority Area Director Debi DeBoer. "We had five salvation decisions and nine people that wanted to talk to someone and learn more."

"On September 24, around 100 high school students gathered together for See You at the Pole," said Logan LeGrande, student at Oak Grove High School. "Many students as well as faculty prayed, and a teacher led us in singing "Amazing Grace." Through students praying, we believe the school will be transformed by God."

Church International Youth Pastor Joey Davis said, "I was blessed very much by seeing so many young men and women standing up for what they believe in and not being ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! See You at the Pole is such a great thing not only for the kids and schools involved but also for the communities. Thank you First Priority for all you are doing for the Kingdom."
