Please note: This Sunday, we will again have a few of the gift baskets being offered in the upcoming Youth Auction in Fellowship Hall between services (so come a little early if you are attending the 11:00am worship service.) Get a head start on the bidding!

9:30am - Worship & Christian Education  10:30am - Fellowship  11:00am - Traditional Worship

Worship this week - October 12th
This Sunday, Dr. Helsel's sermon is "Keep on Doing the Things..." based on Paul's words to the church at Philippi (Philippians 4:1-9.) Paul is encouraging the Philippians to continue on in their labors, building on the example Paul set for them while he was with them. What are the things we are doing as a church that we want to make sure we continue to do as we move forward into a new era?"
Youth Auction - October 18th at 6:00pm
Don't Miss Out!
The big day is fast approaching and the final preparations are being made to make this year's auction one of the best yet! Please join us on Saturday October 18th at 6:00pm for a night of memorable bidding, entertainment, and fellowship. The youth group and auction committee have been working tirelessly to make sure there's something for everyone. Childcare will even be provided to help families with younger children attend. We don't want anyone to miss out!

Gift Baskets
Last Sunday a couple of gift baskets were part of a silent auction between worship services. Congratulations to the winners and thanks for kicking off the auction fundraising! This week, we will offer a few more items so be sure to check them out!

All proceeds from the auction will benefit the 2015 Youth Mission Trip to the Philippines.

If you have questions about anything, please contact Gail Hamel.
Preview of Items
This year's donations are nothing less than spectacular. Thanks to all of the donors within and outside the congregation and to the hard work of the youth and parents, we have some great items to offer. Here's a sneak peek: get-aways to NH, CT, NJ; unique experiences such sailing, dinner parties and items like custom artwork; offers of service from babysitting to electrical work. And don't forget about all of the gift certificates to area businesses and restaurants!
Stewardship Campaign

2015 Stewardship Pledge Cards have been mailed. The special letter has an original artwork from 8-year-old Caleb Helsel. The drawing on the letter is based on Caleb's interpretation of the letter's message, and it also represents how each of can make a contribution to this church-no matter our age or ability. Plan to return your pledge card to the church on or before October 26th. Please let the office know if you have not received yours yet.

Main Event Scheduled

October 24th at 7:00pm

A representative from Parmenter Home Care & Hospice will be joining us and discussing how Advance Care Planning is a process. It takes time. It requires an understanding of care options, intimate conversation, quiet reflection and thoughtful choices in seeking to improve the honoring of wishes for care at end-of-life through outreach and engagement. This written plan is known as Advance Care Directives - and is shared with loved ones and healthcare providers, choices for care are more likely to be honored, stress is reduced and, ultimately, health care is delivered more effectively.

New Beginnings Session 6 and Final Wrap-Up

On October 26th, we invite everyone to join in the final session after worship. All are welcome in these final discussions. There will be a single worship service at 9:30am to allow time for the discussions and 4th Sunday Brunch.

Keep your contact information up-to-date!

Fill out the form here or contact the office directly.
