DOWNTOWN HP RAISES FUNDS FOR BRIGHT PINK

Downtown Highland Park Fashion Week successfully raised $1,230 for the Bright Pink organization! In honor of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month (September) and Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October), Downtown HP merchants will continue to fundraise for Bright Pink. Shop and give back to a great cause!

Hike 4 Better Hearing

"Voices and Visions IV" opens at The Art Center this Friday, September 12 from 6:30-9pm. The juried art exhibit will run through October 25, and is curated by Caren Helene Rudman. This exhibition of work expresses the concerns dealing with and surrounding cancer, as illness becomes a metaphor for facing mortality. Inspired by "Voices and Visions IV", The Art Center also presents an adjunct juried exhibition titled "Mothers & Daughters". This exhibit examines the mother-daughter relationship, featuring artwork by local and regional artists working in a variety of mediums. Juried by "Voices and Visions IV" curator, Caren Helene Rudman.
