Modernizing Medicine Launches EMA Otolaryngology at AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting
|
Modernizing Medicine, Inc., the creator of the Electronic Medical Assistant (EMA™), a cloud-based, specialty-specific electronic medical record (EMR) system, is launching its newest offering made specifically for otolaryngologists, EMA Otolaryngology™. The latest solution will be showcased at the AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting 2014, starting Sunday, September 21st in Orlando, Florida.
Developed by otolaryngologists, template and macro-free EMA Otolaryngology contains built-in, specialty-specific medical knowledge and is the first EMR system of its kind for physicians specializing in ear, nose and throat.
"As a practicing otolaryngologist, I was frustrated with the available EMR systems on the market," said Medical Director of EMA Otolaryngology David Lehman, MD. "I was never satisfied with templates; they weren't tailored to the specific medical conditions I treat as an ENT doctor. I knew there had to be a better solution, and one that wouldn't get in the way of face-to-face interactions with my patients. Having coded EMA Otolaryngology myself and using it in my own practice, I know it's the EMR system my ENT colleagues have been longing for."
