 New fabrics for fall

Viscose Jersey

Wow! Here we go again-another breathtaking print! Have we overused that adjective? The richness of the colorations, the density of the print, the photographic quality and the soft wearability of the viscose jersey...all combine to create a truly unique fabrication. This rainforest motif features fronds in golden olive, acid yellow, marigold, kiwi and grass green. Blossoms in bright cherry pink and snowbell white are cuddled by pale aqua foliage. Accents of coral orange and deep red abound on a soft black ground. This fabric is a great choice for a dress or any of the T-tops you like to wear from tanks to tees and tunics to turtles
linen blend

Linen blends are a great comfort fabric for late August and into the cooler months. The harvest grain color is seasonally appropriate and the light weight is weather-perfect for late summer/early fall in most parts of the Northern Hemisphere. Barley and ivory cross one another to form a soft tweed that will work with neutral colors or warm tones. Best use will be for separates or dresses. Rayon/Linen/Spandex.
rayon nylon ponte

Currently we have this ponte in black, dark roast brown, and navy. Now we have brought in charcoal heather. The blend is our favorite viscose/nylon/elastane.
Adorna in avocado
rayon challis print

Rayon challis is the right choice for drapey shirts, blouses, skirts or dresses. Offered in two colorways, this fabrication will take you year-round. Shown in Avocado. Also available in Surf.

cotton pincord

You'll find this all-cotton pinwale corduroy to be a great wardrobe builder for fall and beyond. The rich sesame color will team with dark neutrals or warm-toned fashion colors. The 18-wale cord will work up well in skirts, pants, or jackets.
rayon linen

This deeply colored brown rayon/linen blend is just right for pants, skirts or dresses. The soft hand with substantial body will work well for unstructured or semi-structured garments.
Sew 'N Tell

"The fabric was so easy to work with (once I drew out the patterns!) :) Thanks for your help figuring out how much to purchase for each granddaughter. Oh - the other picture is of the great long dress I wanted to sew - named 'Spinning Wheels' but not sure. I was in a hurry to sew it because we were leaving on vacation and in my haste I forgot all about the taupe triangular insert! I didn't scold myself too much though and went ahead and sewed it up. It's a great Christine Johnson pattern and the fabric is very comfy & drapes beautifully!"

The skirt fabric is Soundwaves-

Rayon challis is a wonderful fabrication to work with for flowing dresses, skirts, blouses and tunics. Whether belted or free form, the soft drape of a challis print adds femininity and comfort to your day wardrobe. Softened waves form linear bars down the length of the fabric on a white ground. The colors add vibrancy to the already energetic design. This print comes in two colorways perfect for summertime sewing. Available in lilac and aqua.

Spinning Round-

This busy knit is subdued in coloration making it the perfect combination for a sophisticated top or dress. Taupe with a slightly pinked hue combines with sea blue navy, cool beige, pale gray and soft white. Highlights of chocolate brown add contrast and harmony. Viscose/Elastane.

Thank you for sharing Nancy!
