ASIST Training, May 24-25, Clarksville
TSPN invites you to our upcoming two-day Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) training session, scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, and Wednesday, May 25, at Workforce Essentials, Inc., located at 350 Pageant Lane, Suite 406, in Clarksville, ZIP 37040.
ASIST is an intensive, interactive, and practice-dominated suicide prevention training program intended for professional caregivers--mental health professionals, nurses, physicians, teachers, counselors, youth workers, police and correctional staff, school support staff, clergy, and community volunteers. However, the session will be open to anyone who expresses an interest. Additional information about ASIST is available via the TSPN website.
The sessions will run from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Central; a lunch break is scheduled, but lunch itself will be on your own. Participants must attend both days of the training to receive certification.
