An anointing, a denial, a prayer in a garden, a supper, a betrayal - we've heard these things before. Yet there is always something more for us in Holy Week if we make ourselves present to Jesus Christ. This is like no other week when we see again the depth of God's love.

Maundy Thursday, April 16th

Worship tonight is at 7:30pm in the Sanctuary. Dr. McIvor's sermon is "The Supper" based on Matthew 26.17-19, 26-30. Much of Jesus' teaching centered around table fellowship because eating together both anticipates and makes real the Kingdom of God. So at table Jesus gave his friends a meal to both remember him and understand him. In that meal he gave himself to us. The question is what do we give him in return.
