This weekend opens two more of our markets:
Pike Central Farm Market re-opens on Saturday, April 30
at a new location!
The Market has moved to 6001 Executive Boulevard, at the intersection of Old Georgetown Road. We will be next to the Pallas apartment building at Pike & Rose.
Forty vendors will be at the market this year bringing the best fresh meats, fish, poultry, cheeses, baked goods and produce that you can find in our area. New vendor King Mushrooms will have a full line of unique mushrooms! We also have some new prepared foods vendors such as Bun'd Up-Korean Barbecue, Hex Ferments-terrific fermented products, Just Gnocchi-fabulous gnocchi with your choice of sauces, The Inside Scoop-yummy ice cream and Stroker's Barbecue! For the dog lovers we have Otis Farms joining us with their fresh all natural jerky treats!
Mosaic Central re-opens on Sunday, May 1 at Mosaic. Our Mosaic market re-opens on District Lane with a slightly different configuration due to the construction of two more great buildings on site. We have over 50 vendors who will be with us this year including new vendors Angelic Beef, Cabin Hill Farm (flowers), Conklin Farms (certified organic), Dickey's Barbecue, Praline Bakery, Shepherd Whey Creamery to name a few.
At both markets we have a full season of music, chefs demos, kids club activities and lots of community organizations who will provide information and guidance on a variety of topics. So come on out, support the farmers and artisan food producers, sit, relax at our tables and enjoy the food, fun and flavors of the market!
