I don't know where you're at, but here in Morrisville, NC the weather is getting hot!  Just in time for one of our favorite iced coffees!

From the Central Rift Valley, this coffee comes to us from our partners at
Dominion Trading.  Dominion uses coffee profits for civic ventures benefiting the lives of Ethiopian coffee families.

The cup is a foundation of baked chocolate, with a layer of orange  citrus, jasmine and warm fruits.

                                                              Great hot or iced.
Oh, how do we make our iced coffee?  Brew it hot and refrigerate!
Great idea for left over coffee too!

 Kimbap Cafe Blend

When our friend Kim Hunter decided to open her Korean-inspired restaurant Kimbap (Kimbap is the name for Korean rolls that resemble sushi), she wanted an Asian-inspired coffee worthy of her awesome, locally-sourced menu.  Anchored with the best of Indonesia, this coffee has a huge, syrupy body, pleasant mineral content, rounded out with hints of chocolate and tree nuts.

When in the Raleigh area, go to Seaboard Station and check out Kimbap Cafe!  Tell Kim that we sent you!

Happy Thursday!

First order of business- if you did not read above, please take note that we will be closed May 4- May 7.   Any orders that come in during that time will be processed upon our return.

We would like to introduce Rachel and Matt Dawson...
Owners of The Coffee Project NC contacted Muddy Dog to see if we would be interested in supplying coffee for them.  Located in Coastal North Carolina, this team joined the Beaufort Farmers Market for their opening day last Saturday.  What's unique about The Coffee Project is that not only are they serving brewed coffee, but they also have an espresso machine set up for espresso beverages.  That's where we come in.  Rachel and Matt had the pleasure of drinking our espresso and were hooked.  After contacting us, we sent them some regular, decaf and espresso coffee.  Report back from Rachel after the market...
"Opening day was a huge success! We had a slight electrical issue so we didn't sell as many lattes as we expected but people we patient and happy to see us there!
People were VERY pleased with the quality of coffee and we handed out almost all of your cards!"
Thank you Rachel and Matt for bringing Muddy Dog to Coastal North Carolina.  If you find yourself in that area, please stop by to say hi to Rachel and Matt and tell them the Muddy Dog Team sent you!

Have a wonderful week!
Debbie and Jim
