Journeys to Passover Community Seder         More Pix!
Community Seder at TBC

More than 100 congregants and friends gathered at TBC last Saturday evening for the Second Night Community Seder. The seder was led by Rabbi Bearman and Cantor Sobel with lots of participation from the congregation. Everyone took turns reading from the Haggadah, and the children hunted for the Afikomen. We enjoyed a traditional and delicious catered dinner of matzo ball soup, chicken, brisket, stuffing, and fruit and home-made macaroons for dessert. Many thanks to the Sisterhood and Ritual Committee members for their beautiful preparations, especially to Bonnie Heft and Michele Scruton, who organized the event for the second year in a row. Pictures here! (Thanks to Terry Ullman for the dispatch!)

Jewish Senior Services Dedication Plaques Are Moving!

Jewish Senior Services (formerly The Jewish Home for the Elderly of Fairfield County) will be moving to a new campus in the next couple of months! If you or your family have a dedication plaque that you would like RETURNED, please contact Dayna Hayden, Director, Development at [email protected] or 203-365-6409. The loose bronze plaques are not moving, however the dedication messages will be carried over.
TBC Is Updating Its Safety and Security Processes

In the spring of 2015, the Security Task Force was asked by TBC's Executive Committee to formulate and implement actions that would meet the dual goals of supporting TBC's warm and welcoming culture and creating an environment that is safe and comfortable for congregants. More information about these changes is available here. Information about how these change will affect the Religious School is being sent separately to parents.
B'nai Mitzvah Projects!

Jacob and Charlie are hoping for your help and support!
Students preparing for their Bat and Bar Mitzvahs are encouraged to complete a project profile so that information about their project can be posted on the TBC website and Facebook. (Click here to view the project profile form).

Please note that before you complete this form, you must submit your mitzvah project proposal to Rabbi Bearman.
TBC Diaper Collection Project!

The TBC Social Action Committee is seeking donations of diapers and wipes to benefit the Community Action Agency of Western Connecticut and the Domestic Violence Crisis Center, Stamford, and Person-to-Person, Norwalk.  For most parents, diapers for babies is a given.  If you are living in poverty, however, they are often a luxury.
