Day One
Organizational Scarcity: A Financial Health Framework
Facilitated by Shawn Young, Founder
Financial Health Institute
Panel Presentation and Guest Speakers

When organizations experience scarcity and economic stress, the results are often deteriorating relationships with clients, staff turnover, a lack of focus on long-term planning, and mission drift.

This interactive and engaging symposium focuses on the ways in which scarcity and economic stress affect the decision-making, planning and, ultimately, the success of human services organizations. Through various formats, including speakers, panel discussions, group discussions and networking opportunities, participants will gain innovative strategies to prevent a scarcity mentality within their organizations, and therefore improve long-term success.

Day Two
Bridges Out of Poverty
Jodi Pfarr, Consultant
aha! Process

This workshop is a comprehensive approach to understanding the dynamics that cause and maintain poverty from the individual to the systemic level. Bridges Out of Poverty uses the lens of economic class and provides concrete tools and strategies for a community to prevent, reduce, and alleviate poverty.

Since 200, Jodi Pfarr has worked internationally, conducting profound seminars that leave people learning and laughing.  Her engaging style-and trademark humor-allow her to effectively connect with diverse audiences.  Her ongoing clients represent a broad range of groups, including police departments, judges, teachers, religious institutions, social services, and fire departments.

Workbooks will be provided based on request.

*Cancellation Policy: Registration must be cancelled two weeks before the event to receive a refund.
