Smoke on the Water Gratzer

 A rare and unusual style from Poland. This is a wheat beer made from 75% oak-smoked wheat malt and 25% beechwood-smoked barley malt. Super light and drinkable with a pronounced smokiness.
Style: Gratzer
Glass: Worth Brewing Wheat 1/2 liter
Malt/hop balance: light malt, low hop, wood smoke in aroma and flavor
OG: 1030; ABV: 3%; IBU 30; Color: 2.5

Regular tap room hours:

Wednesdays: 5 to 9 p.m.
Thursdays: 5 to 9 p.m. 
Fridays: 5 to 11 p.m.
Saturdays: noon to 11 p.m.

Festival of Iowa Beers set Aug. 31 in the Amana Colonies
 
Join Worth Brewing Company and more than 20 other Iowa breweries at the Festival of Iowa Beers Sunday, Aug. 31 in the Amana Colonies.
 

Iowa has a burgeoning brewing scene and there is no better place to get a broad taste of the Hawkeye State offerings. Check out our social media to find out what we'll be sampling--and as always, wear your WBC gear to get a free pint on your next visit.   

WBC Oktoberfest, Doppelbock headline Oktoberfest Sept. 27 

Don't forget to mark your calendars for TUNE's Northwood Oktoberfest and BBQ at the Worth County Fairgrounds in Northwood on Saturday Sept. 27.

The Oktoberfest has been brewed and is aging in the cellar in anticipation of another great fall fest. More information to come in next month's newsletter.
