Frisco High School Student Wins Top Prize
Investors Provided $8000
The top honor this year was awarded to 16-year-old Bethani DeMaria, a junior at Frisco High School. DeMaria presented her idea for including a hand wipe with packaging for messy snacks such as Nacho Cheese Doritos. Bethani was one of several middle and high school students that presented ideas for new products and services before a panel of investors supporting Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) , an educational program sponsored by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Frisco ISD.  The Chamber works with educators, business leaders and many others to promote a spirit of entrepreneurship and help students launch their own real businesses.
