We can't stress enough how important the condition of your online presence is!
HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR ONLINE PRESENCE:
1. Is your website S T A L E ?
When is the last time you looked at YOUR OWN website? Most importantly, are the images properly representing current product and information? Clean up the spider webs and freshen your website. Then plug the new changes on your social media to drive new traffic.
2. Is your business information correct EVERYWHERE online?
Is YOUR business listed on vendor store locator pages? It is not the vendor's responsibility to keep your information current. This is an easy task to delegate. Don't miss even 1 potential customers to bad info!  3. Review sites ARE used! Just because you may not use them doesn't mean no one else does. Yelp, Angie's List, Google Place for Business, Merchant's Circle, Insider Pages . . . there are dozens of them. What many SMBs don't know is that you must "claim" or "verify" your business to make it the most effective and accurate.
4. Engage more and post less?
What does "Engage" really mean? Think. . . if you are at a party, and you are doing all the talking, just how long do you think others will hang around? Social Media is "social," and the same rules apply. You may have wonderfully informative posts, but if you are doing all the talking, you won't see results. Take interest in others' posts. Like, Comment, Share.
5. Ask for Reviews!
Send your customers a quick email asking them to review your product or service on sites like Yelp and Google+ Business after their good experience with your business. Not only does it boost your online reputation, but it keeps your customers engaged with your business.
