Chicago Public Schools start up on Tuesday next week and that means a lot more traffic and kids around schools throughout the ward. Please be aware as you drive through the neighborhood. We are working with several of the schools and Chicago Police CAPS to improve their traffic and drop off/pickup problems. Parents can help by observing all school rules regarding drop off and pickup of children. You can find information about any school here, including ratings, performance and programs offered. Now is a good time to get involved with your local school's support organization.
The 2015 Roof and Porch Repair Program will be accepting calls in 311 on Thursday, September 4th at 9 a.m. This program is for income-eligible applicants in need of roof and porch repair. Click here for more information.
Be safe enjoy your weekend,
