  • Congratulations to our very own Tom Swick, named one of Wilton Magazine's Wilton 25, a selection of the town's most dedicated, most creative, most intriguing people. In addition to his magnificent work in our Media and Circulation Departments, Tom is a highly regarded cartoonist and illustrator.
  • The Wilton Go Green Festival is happening this Sunday, May 1, from 11am to 4pm. Please be advised that library parking will be very limited during the festival.

Wilton Schools Fine and Performing Arts (FAPA) Exhibit Opening Reception
Monday, May 2 @6pm
Join us in a celebration of the Wilton Schools' Fine and Performing Arts Exhibition featuring 400+ works from students in grades K-12 on display throughout the library. During the reception, student musical performances will take place in the Brubeck Room. The exhibit runs through May 26.
Food Lit Book Group:  97 Orchard

Come join our book group dedicated to 'food literature.' This month's book is 97 Orchard: An Edible History of Five Immigrant Families in One New York Tenement by Jane Ziegelmann. Pamela Lillis, a nutritional health coach, avid reader, and lover of food lit, moderates the discussion. All are welcome. More info & register
Road Map to Entrepreneurship: Build, Buy, or Franchise
Tuesday, May 3 @6pm
Attendees will gain an overview of the franchise process from a consultant and panel of successful local franchisees who will discuss their own experiences. SCORE is a non-profit organization that helps individuals start or grow a business. Co-sponsored by Fairfield County SCORE, Wilton Library and the Wilton Chamber of Commerce. More info & register
To Sleep or Not to Sleep: That is the Question

This second program of Get Well, Stay Well: A Health Literacy Series presented by Norwalk Hospital and Wilton Library, covers stress management, sleep disorders and the relationship between the two. Speakers are Michelle Dailey, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Norwalk Hospital's Whittingham Cancer Center, and Dr. Ian Weir, DO, the Associate Director of the Sleep Disorders Center and Director of the Insomnia Center at Norwalk Hospital.  More info & register
The Impact of Posture, Alignment & Ergonomics on Health

Join Dr. Thomas Fastiggi of Wilton Chiropractic as he leads an interactive discussion on how stress affects body posture and alignment. Dr. Fastiggi presents science-based examples to overcome stress and shares techniques which can be practiced to control one's ability to heal.  More info & register
