In this interactive session with the co-author of Lead Me Out to the Ballgame: Stories and Strategies to Develop Major League Leadership, Howard Fero will take you through the clubhouses of the 19 Major League Baseball clubs in which he and his colleague interviewed 17 Major League Baseball managers and over 100 players.
The session will center around the ten bases of Major League Leadership, which the authors identified based on their interviews with managers such as Davey Johnson, Joe Maddon, Bob Melvin, John Farrell, Don Mattingly, and players such as David Ortiz, Mike Trout, Bryce Harper, Jose Bautista, and more. You will learn how Major League Baseball managers inspire their players, develop trust, create a winning culture, and cultivate a team of players who want to play their hardest for them. Come join us as we explore Major League Leadership and understand how we can apply the concepts and become Major League Leaders.
