5 Week Rally!

Put on your rally caps and earn a chance to win prizes!

 

How it Works:  Families will be eligible to win the prize of the week by making their tax credit donation or e-pledge for a future payment during each particular week (Saturday through Sunday).  If your name is not drawn on week one, you will remain in the "hat".

 

Deadline 11/23/14, Wk 1:  Receive a Complimentary Athletic Fee

Deadline 11/30/14, Wk 2:  Suns Tickets for 4

Deadline 12/07/14, Wk 3:  Spring Training game for your family

Deadline 12/14/14, Wk 4:  $100 gift card

 

Remember:  Pledges for a scheduled future payment will be eligible.  If you have already donated, you are eligible as well beginning week 1.  Drawings will be held Monday mornings and you will be notified by email; we will post the winners in the weekly newsletter. 

 

80% Participation Reward

Any grade level that reaches 80% participation in the tax credit drive will receive an R & R weekend in January 17 -  20. 

 

Tax Incentive +1 Credit

All families who donate their tax credit and refer a friend or family member to donate as well, will be entered at the end of the drive for a drawing to win an IPad Mini.

Coffee Shop Conversations
Next week's Coffee Shop Conversation will meet on Wednesday, November 19th, at 8:30 am. Mr. Wagner looks forward to continuing the discussions next week with 11 A/B/C.

Student Life Night (HS)

 

When: November 21, 5 - 8 pm

Who: All high school students

What: Food, games, panel and small group discussions.

 

Food order forms will be available on Monday in the front office.

Please turn them in by Wednesday, Nov 19th so we can order enough pizza. Thanks!   

JSA Update

All students interested in JSA should attend a meeting in room 212 during 4th period lunch on Friday, November 21. We will be discussing the format of Congressional Debate. 


 
Delegate Parker Maxwell  reflects on his recent discussion with a political candidate in Science Backs Teenager in Voting Rights Debate with Senator.  Attend a JSA meeting to participate in additional thought talks.  

 

Looking for summer opportunities with an interest in American Government or Constitutional Law? See Ms. Kendall for opportunities at Stanford, Princeton and Georgetown Universities! Applications begin in January and $1000 scholarships are available!

All Arete Prep students and their parents are invited to listen to Arete Prep alumni discuss how their Great Hearts education prepared them for college. Alumni will do short presentations, followed by a question & answer session.
