Buffalo Green Code: Employment District Zones Workshop!
Tomorrow afternoon, the Mayor's Office of Strategic Planning will hold its final workshop in the series of community meetings to review specific sections of the draft Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). The Employment District Zones workshop will be held tomorrow at 4:30 PM in City Hall, Room 901.
District zones are specialized areas that serve a predominant use. Unlike the mixed use neighborhood zones, form standards for district zones are more flexible to accommodate the specialized nature of the specific zone. On Thursday, the Office of Strategic Planning will lead a review of the draft UDO employment district zones, including the Medical Campus (D-M), Educational Campus (D-E), Strip Retail (D-S), Flex Commercial (D-C), Light Industrial (D-IL), and Heavy Industrial (D-IH) zones.
