Support the Hall, Support the Giants!

September 26th is "Hall of Fame Night" at the Vancouver Giants! We are very pleased to provide a unique way to support the Hall and help cheer on the Giants at the same time.
You can purchase $16 tickets to the Giants' game (a $4 savings) through the BC Sports Hall of Fame, all ticket proceeds will help the Hall's fundraising efforts. We have a goal to sell 500 tickets so be sure to order your tickets by emailing Emma Watson at [email protected] or call

A Week You'll Remember A Lifetime
Exhibit Opening - July 29, 2014
On July 29 we opened the NEW Signature Exhibition Gallery of the BC Sports Hall of Fame with its first exhibit A Week You'll Remember A Lifetime. The exhibit celebrates the 60th Anniversary of the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games. The opening was attended by 180 guests including 25 participants from the '54 games, Honoured Members, trustees and members of the media. Vancouver False Creek MLA Sam Sullivan was on hand to send best wishes from the provincial government and assist with officially cutting the ribbon to open the new wing.
Thank you to trustee Tom Mayenknecht for emceeing. Thank you to our project funders: Province of BC, Flash Fund Foundation, Atkinson Family, Canadian Direct Insurance and individual donors. Our suppliers, volunteers and staff worked countless hours to make sure the exhibit is a first class experience, no one worked harder on this project than our Curator and Facility Director, Jason Beck. Thank you to everyone who made this new wing a reality. We encourage all you to come for a visit and explore this great look back 60yrs to the sporting event that captured the world's attention and put Vancouver on the map!

Your BC Sports Hall of Fame Team - Ruth Reynolds Join the BC Sports Hall of Fame
|
 Sport has always been a big part of Ruth's life. Many of her lifelong friends were made through sport. So, she believes in its power. To entertain and make friends, yes, certainly, but also to inspire and drive us to pursue our dreams and goals. As a girl, Ruth watched Nancy Greene win Silver and Gold in the Grenoble Olympics and was inspired to learn how to ski. Setting goals and pursuing them is important to Ruth. In the media for 21 years, she worked with businesses to help them achieve their goals to launch and grow. Starting in 2008, Ruth ran a non-profit offering business programs to train people who dreamed of owning their own businesses. In her role at the BC Sports Hall of Fame, Ruth brings her experience in business and in education to help our future generations know that they can dream and set goals and be the best in the world!
