June 2014 Newsletter

the independent, collaborative
resource for the ICANN community

Hello ICANNWikians,

Spring is in bloom, and it's almost time for the 2nd ICANN Meeting of the year, which just so happens to be the 50th meeting in ICANN's history. It's also the first meeting ever to be held in the great city of London. Needless to say, we are excited.
ICANNWiki Community Survey 2014

Give Us Feedback & Win Prizes!

We hope you will take the time to fill out our first annual ICANNWiki Community Survey at the link above! Your responses will help us get a sense of who is reading and editing ICANNWiki, which will allow us to grow and improve our organization. All it takes is 5-8 minutes of your time.

As a thank you for filling out the survey, you will be entered into a raffle for two lucky winners to be included in the ICANNWiki Los Angeles Card Deck in October. If you win, a special caricature will be created just for you, and you'll receive a copy of the caricature and deck - even if you don't attend ICANN Los Angeles!

Did we mention we are excited to go to London? Not simply because London is a great city and we always enjoy ICANN meetings, but because we will get to see all of you - our wonderful ICANNWiki community - there.

Remember, if you've had your picture taken at our booth before, we'll have a caricature card for you. Come by and pick it up, to place in your conference badge! (PS - For those of you who regularly wear our caricature badges, we'll have an awesome raffle! Come by our booth to find out more!)

In celebration of ICANN's 50th Anniversary, we will be offering and participating in a number of giveaways:

  • A special Playing Card Deck that you won't want to miss.

  • A "Local's Guide to London", with food and attractions recommendations from native ICANNers. (If you're a Londoner and want to recommend something, you still have time! Shoot an email to vivian@icannwiki.com.)

  • A feature in the premiere edition of IoN Magazine, a new print publication for the ICANN community.

As always, reach out to us if you need help navigating or editing ICANNWiki.com, and we thank you in advance for filling out the survey. See you in London!

Cheers,
The ICANNWiki team - Jonah Geil-Neufeld, Vivian Hua Ray King
