Game on!!!

Our basketball superstars (Jason Davis and Dr. Michael Baxter) challenge YOU to a game at the CAN gym on Wed, Oct. 29!

Sign up as a team of 2 to 3 players. The first team to 5 points wins!

Tip-off for first game is 5:30 p.m.

Entry fee is $10 per team. All funds raised will go to Tulsa Area United Way.

    • Social Media and Child Abuse with Justin Fitzsimmons, JD

Brief Overview: This presentation will detail the importance of using social media to develop evidence to corroborate child exploitation and physical abuse cases; and the importance of acting quickly to secure the evidence. Participants will learn about authenticating evidence discussed in cyberspace for court purposes.   

 

Justin Fitzsimmons, JD: is a nationally-recognized legal authority on technology-facilitated crimes against children. He was the supervisor of the Special Prosecutions Unit of the Kane County State's Attorney's Office. The unit was responsible for any prosecution involving online crimes against children. Before supervising SPU, he was assigned to the Children Advocacy Center where he prosecuted sexual assault and severe physical abuse of children.
