HART WEEKLY eBLAST  | AUGUST 29, 2014

KICKING OFF THE NEW SEASON

Thousands of football fans will head to Aloha Stadium tomorrow to watch the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors open their 2014 football season against the University of Washington Huskies.

Some will ride the bus, but most fans will drive their cars and trucks to the stadium.  They'll hope the traffic isn't too bad and that they can find a parking space.

In the not too distant future, fans will have another option to the stadium; rail transit.

The Aloha Stadium station sits at the mid-point of the rail system, about 10 miles from both the Ala Moana Center station and the East Kapolei station. That means fans from all over the island can sit back, relax and enjoy the ride to UH games.

The station will be located near Kamehameha Highway and Salt Lake Boulevard at the current Lot 5 parking area.

Rail transit will provide a fast, easy and affordable way to and from the stadium without the hassle of driving, parking, or trying to make it there on time.

Go 'Bows.
