Next Up In Our Art Talk Series, Under the Influence

Artist Christian Giroux will tell the tale of a group of artists working and teaching at the University of Victoria when he was a student there in the late 80s and early 90s who played a significant role in shaping and launching his practice. He will talk about the transformative role of a mentor who taught him in his early days as an artist, as well as the collaborative microcosm that he shared with his peers.
