Introducing.... Our

Our wine cellar is growing! Our new Wine Director, Erin, has been collecting several special bottles over the last few months, and has just released our brand new wine list.

What's different? Well, you'll still find all of the best French wines, but we've expanded our list to include wines from around the world.

You'll now find:
-great rieslings of Germany
-an entire section of Orange Wine
-some older bottles from Spain and Lebanon
-expanded selections of Virginia wine
-a selection of non-alcoholic cocktails
-the largest Cru Beaujolais selection in Charlottesville
-the soil type of every vineyard source
-an introduction to each region
and so much more!

Most importantly, you'll see a heavier focus on sustainable, organic, and biodynamic wines. Our community has already embraced the farm-to-table ethos and recognized the benefits of eating organic vegetables and sustainably farmed meats. But this type of low-impact, low-chemical farming doesn't always carry through to the way people think about wine. We think it should: we won't feed you herbicides in your vegetables or hormones in your meat, why would we want to pour you a glass full of industrial chemicals? The greatest wines in the world are made from grapes that are farmed with the utmost care and with minimal chemical intervention. Our new wine list is a curation of such thoughtful and responsible winegrowers.  We've included the farming philosophies of the winemakers we carry, so you can see just how they are growing their grapes.

A few weeks ago we finished a busy and successful
Restaurant Week.
We're always happy to to participate in this charitable event, and this past July we were able to raise over $700 for the
Blue Ridge Area Food Bank!
